Offer of internships and scientific initiation grants
In Pará, the Museu Paraense Emilio Goeldi (MPEG), one of the members of the Network, has articulation with different institutions of higher education in the state through the granting of unpaid internships, scholarships for scientific initiation and technical support. Mainstreaming has been achieved through the involvement of faculty in the orientation of scholarship holders, allowing undergraduate students to have recent and innovative research topics, theories, and results available to them. The three-month unpaid internship serves as a preparatory phase and knowledge of scientific research. The projects of the researchers have a technical support scholarship at the undergraduate level to assist in field and laboratory activities for theses.
